4. Refund Policy

Refunds for course registrations and event participation fees are subject to the policies outlined on the specific registration pages. Refunds will only be processed in accordance with these policies.

5. Content and Media

• Photos and Videos: We may capture photos and videos during courses and events for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image and likeness in these materials.
• Content Usage: All content, including photos, videos, text, and graphics on guwahatiartclub.com, is the property of Guwahati Art Club or its content suppliers. Unauthorized use of this content is prohibited.

6. User Conduct

Participants and colleagues/peers at Guwahati Art Club are expected to adhere to the highest standards of behavior. The following conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate expulsion without compensation or refund:

• Prohibited Substances: The consumption of alcohol, illegal drugs, smoking, and tobacco within the premises of Guwahati Art Club is strictly forbidden.
• Sexual Harassment: Any form of sexual harassment will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate expulsion and potential legal action.
• Property Damage: Any damage to property or equipment caused by students or employees will result in expulsion without compensation or refund. The responsible party will also be required to compensate for the damage caused.

Participants are expected to respect the club's property, staff, and fellow participants at all times. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disciplinary action.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

• Guwahati Art Club Content: All content, including but not limited to course materials, videos, photographs, logos, and text provided by Guwahati Art Club (GAC), is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of this content without prior written consent from GAC is strictly prohibited. Participants may use the materials provided for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Any violation of these rights may result in legal action.

• Student Intellectual Property: Any artwork, projects, or other intellectual property created by students during their participation in courses or events at GAC remains the property of the student. However, GAC reserves the right to promote, advertise, or publish this student-created content for non-commercial purposes, such as in promotional materials or on the club’s website and social media channels. GAC will not use student intellectual property for commercial purposes without obtaining explicit consent from the student.

8. Limitation of Liability

Guwahati Art Club is not responsible for any damages, losses, or injuries incurred during participation in courses or events, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the website following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Guwahati, Assam.
